A/W trends 2011. hit or miss?
dont get me wrong, im as much into fashion as the next person, but i've got to say, i dont really get
the style this A/W. im loving the peter pan neck dresses and the chunky knitwear- they're 60s inspired and elegant without looking out of place in the season, but i dont find palazzo trousers or jumpsuits at all attractive- they make your legs look like those of a stilt walker in a fair/circus and the jumpsuit makes you look frumpy with a camel-toe and ankle bashers. not for me, thanks.
i think that mix of patterns is a great idea, but some of the bright and bold patterns are too outstanding for some of the garmets that people are wearing and dont help the figure.
bodycon skirts and dresses are definately still in, and worn with the right accessories, they can be elegant, yet casual, mixed with worker boots and cable knit tight and granddad cardigans, they're a sure winner this autumn!

fake Uggs?
personally, i am a girl of luxery, and i have to say, that i have grown up wearing real Uggs. 4 years after my first pair, i am now on my 4th, and i just had to replace my classic short tan boots. they were great- i wore them in the snow for years, and through every type of weather condition problem free. after replacing then, i realised that the Ugg boots quality has gone down, however, the price hasn't. the boot lining is not as thick and the boot seems flimsier and not as strong. the sole does not seem to be as secure as they used to be. i dont wear Uggs because everyone else does, because, to be honest, i dont really follow the crowd. i originally bought them because they were comfortable, and continued to buy them because of th fact that they were good quality for money. many of my friends wear fake uggs "fuggs" from the average clothing or shoe retailers. they have no support what so ever and are destroyed within a matter of weeks, they also look cheap. a few years ago i bought a pair of bearpaws, to compare the quality. it was obvious that they were cheaper- £50 compared to £150, and the quality matches that of Uggs. i would definately buy them again. i would not buy fake boots from a generic retailer, as i like supportive shoes. i would concider buying Ugg brand boots again, but not as readily as i would before, until they assess th quality -or price!- of their boots.
